Abstract: 近幾年有關環境保護暨氣候變遷等議題及海水暖化影響大氣等議題已日益關注。南海為全球重要邊緣海之一,其海表水溫長期年代際變化尚未有相關研究論及,故本研究收集1967年至2016年間英國哈德利中心「全球海洋表面溫度」(HadISST1)資料,以探討南海海域海表水溫度之年代際變化。 南海海域海表溫年際變化,在1967-2016年,共計50年間,南海海域海表面溫度長期升降溫變化,經研究發現區分四階段:第一階段在1967年至1971年為降溫(0.16℃);第二階段在1972年至1998年,呈現升溫(0.82℃)狀態;第三階段在1998年起至2011年為降溫(0.3℃);第四階段自2011年起,隨即呈現急速升溫(0.63℃)狀態。海域本身受中國沿岸流,中南半島湧升流,黑潮入侵等因素,更重要影響整個南海區域升降溫要素,研究更發現,其中東金灣與越南沿岸溫度之長期觀察明顯與周邊海域環境變動不明顯,兩者長期變化趨勢分別為0.01℃/十年及0.02 ℃/十年,其原因可能與季節變化、中國沿岸流及艾克曼湧升影響有關。
In recent years, issues such as environmental protection, climate change and the effects of seawater warming on the atmosphere have been increasingly concerned. The South China Sea is one of the most important marginal seas in the world. The long-term interdecadal variation of sea surface water temperature has not been studied. Therefore, this study collected the data of “Global Ocean Surface Temperature” (HadISST1) from the Hadley Center in the United Kingdom from 1967 to 2016. To explore the interdecadal variations of sea surface water temperature in the South China Sea. The interannual variation of sea surface temperature in the South China Sea, from 1967 to 2016, for a total of 50 years, the sea surface temperature in the South China Sea has been changing for a long time. It has been found that the four stages are divided: the first stage was cooled about 0.16 °C from 1967 to 1971; the second stage showed a warming (0.82 °C) state from 1972 to 1998; the third stage cooled about 0.3 °C from 1998 to 2011; and the fourth stage began to heat up rapidly 0.63 °C since 2011. The study also found that the long-term observation of the warming trendancy in sea surface temperature along the coast of Dongjin Bay and Vietnam is unclear to compare to that in the surrounding waters. The trend is lower about 0.01 °C / decade and 0.02 °C / decade, respectively. It may be related to seasonal changes, China's coastal currents and the impact of the Ekman surge.
