Title: 台灣與菲律賓的地體動力學研究 II-菲律賓海之長支距反射與海底地震儀震測速度構造研究 (II)

Abstract: 摘要:本計畫協同總計畫與美國團隊共同分析2009年4-7月美國研究船(R/V Marcus Langseth)在菲律賓海收集之長支距反射與海底地震儀震測資料,以及1995 年美國尤英 號研究船在鄰近海域收集之長支距反射震測資料。結合重合前深度移位與走時反演技術 分析跨越馬尼拉隱沒帶、南海海陸過渡帶與加瓜海脊總長度約1200 公里的長支距反射 震測與11 站海底地震儀震測資料。計畫執行的第一年著重於分析通過南海海陸過渡帶、馬尼拉隱沒帶、接近恆春半島 的長支距反射震測(約600公里長的MGL0905-15、EW9509-46、49)與海底地震儀(11站) 震測資料,並整合OBS2001與T1、T2、T3等測線的研究成果,以了解南海東北部海陸邊 界、南海擴張初期的張裂、岩漿侵入作用、馬尼拉隱沒帶增積岩體底部與滑脫面、海洋 地殼的厚度與速度、隱沒板塊的變化與上覆板塊的岩漿活動等。第二年計畫將分析跨越花東海盆與加瓜海脊北側的長支距反射震測資料(約600 公 里長的MCS291-28、EW9509-5、EW9509-3、EW9509-19),將可用以整合2009年 MGL0908-09與2006年加瓜海脊南側的海底地震儀(25 站)震測速度模型,建構加瓜海脊由北到南的地殼P 波速度模型,以期了解加瓜海脊與花東海盆的形成。計畫的第三年將協同總計畫申請海研一號到菲律賓海域進行反射震測與海底地震儀震測資料的收集與分析。第三年的研究成果將使我們串聯台灣與菲律賓之間的海域地體構造。
Astract:Long-offset reflection data and ocean-bottom seismometer (OBS) data collected from R/V Marcus Langseth in Philippine Sea during April-July 2009 and from R/V Maurice Ewing in 1995 will be analyzed by this project, the integrated project and the USA team. Reflection data with a total length of about 1000 km and 11 OBS data across the Manila subduction zone, the ocean-continent transition of the South China Sea and the Gagua Ridge will be processed from pre-stack depth migration and travel-time inversion. The first year of the project will be emphasized for analyzing the reflection data (MGL0905-15、EW9509-46、49 with a total length of about 600 km) and for integrating the velocity models along other OBS profiles (OBS 2001, T1, T2 and T3) across the ocean-continent transition of the South China Sea and the Manila subduction zone near the Hengchun Peninsula. The results will let us understand the ocean-continent boundary in the northeastern South China Sea, rifts and magma intrusion during the early spreading of the South China Sea, accretionary prism and decollement in the Manila subduction zone, thickness and velocity of the oceanic crust, variation of the subducted slab and magmatism of the overlying crust. Long-offset reflection data (MCS291-28、EW9509-5、EW9509-3、EW9509-1 with a total of about 600 km) across the Huatung Basin and the northern Gagua Ridge will be analyzed in the second year of the project. The results will be integrated with velocity models across the southern Gagua Ridge constructed from 25 OBS data collected in 2006 and long-offset reflection data recorded along MGL0908-09 in 2009. Crustal velocity models of the northern and southern Gagua Ridge will lead us to understand about the formation of the Gagua Ridge and Huatung Basin. We shall also conduct the reflection and OBS surveys off Philippine collaborated with the integrated project in the third year of the project. The results will enable us to integrate the tectonic structures between Taiwan and Philippine.
