Abstract: Abstract:We introduce a definition of a weighted Haar basis which generalizes the notion of the traditional Haar basis. This is used first to derive the characterization of weighted Lp (w) in terms of weighted homogeneous Triebel-Lizorkin sequence space, and second to characterize certain weighted Besov spaces with the approximation error in weighted Lp (w) spaces.
