Abstract: Abstract:Transition rates for the electric dipole transitions in Be-like ions are determined to the
second order within the framework of relativistic many-body perturbation theory. The transition rates obtained in different gauges are in close agreement. The theoretical transition rates agree well with experiments for all ions except for the neutral Be atom. PACS. 32.70.Cs – Oscillator strengths, lifetimes, transition moments.
