Abstract: Abstract:The fine structure splittings in the (3s23p4)3P and (3s3p5)3Po terms of the S-like ions are calculated by using the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) method. The subtraction of the spurious nonrelativistic contributions substantially improves the agreement of the theoretical results with experiment. PACS. 32.10.Fn – Fine and hyperfine structure.
