Abstract: Abstract:We perform relativistic many-body perturbation theory calculations through third order to study amplitudes of the principal transitions in copperlike, silverlike, and goldlike ions. For low ionicities, semiempirical corrections are given for the omitted fourth- and higher-order terms. Comparisons with experiment are made.
