Abstract: Abstract:Existing control schemes for drum-boiler systems are mainly PI and PID controllers plus feedforward compensation. In this paper, we propose continuous affine Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model and Iterative Linear Matrix Inequality (ILMI) approach to design a T-S fuzzy controller for the boiler systems. In general, fuzzy control system can be classified as Mamdani type and T-S type. The ILMI approach is developed by extending LMI approach to solve the BMI problem in this paper.
