Abstract: Abstract:This paper purposed a passivity analysis and control methodology of a class of continuous time nonlinear systems. The affine T-S fuzzy models are more approximate than homogeneous T-S fuzzy models for modeling nonlinear systems. Using the energy concept with Lyapunov function and properties of passivity, the conditions are derived to ensure the passivity of nonlinear systems. The proposed fuzzy control design approach is developed based on Parallel Distribution Compensation (PDC) technique. Finally, application of the present approach is illustrated by a numerical example.
