Abstract: Abstract:In the reference, we found that the exhaust emissions, i.e., the amount of and , discharged by the electric ship can be reduced by 12%. If the power source of the electric propulsion system is supplied by other prime drivers, e.g., fuel cell, etc., and then the exhaust emissions discharged by the electric ship can be reduced more and more. Besides, in the case of combining the electric propulsion system and the integrated power system, the used fuel amount can be reduced by 20% at least. Comparing the economical costs of electric propulsion ships and diesel propulsion ships, it can be found that the cost of electric propulsion ships increase 17%~20% than the diesel propulsion ships. However, considering the fishery policy of our country, the adoption of the electric propulsion fishing boats can impel thrift of the whole fishery energy and can reduce the pollution of marine environment.
