Abstract: Abstract:The Schwarz-Christoffel transformation in conjunction with the hodograph method is employed to determine the shapes of bounding streamlines for a two-dimensional air-jet impacting onto a slotted surface. In order to determine the solution to the problem, the Schwarz-Christoffel integral is expressed in terms of mathematical functions in numerical form, from which the pivotal points in the half plane, onto which the hodograph place is mapped, can be determined completely, enabling the calculation of the velocity potential and in turn the shape of the jet boundaries.
