Abstract:Patient endure considerable wait time while receiving healthcare services. Research in the U.S. indicates a negative relationship between wait time and healthcare service evaluation , as well as behavior of behavior of patients, including loyalth. However, in Taiwan, a major player in global healthcare services, there is little research focus on wait time and its effects on patient perceptions and behavior. An examination of these relationships in Taiwan, in comparison to the U.S., would help improve patient loyalth.
