摘要: abstract:The active flutter suppression is considered of a cantilever tube transporting high speed moving fluid by using state of the art piezoelectric ceramics as the actuators. Bernoulli-Euler beam theory is applied for the long slender cantilever tube which is discretized into finite elements to describe its dynamic behavior due to the moving fluid load. An optimal independent model space control technique is applied to suppress the flutter instability of the tube, which essentially moves the unstable mode from the right side of the complex plane to the left side. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the performance of the control system designed, which shows that the flutter vibration of the cantilever tube can be effectively suppressed with the moderate driving control voltage fed into the piezoelectric actuators.
