Title: 台灣北部海域斑竹狗鮫之年齡與成長研究
Age and growth of the whitespotted bamboo shark, Chiloscyllium plagiosum in the northern waters off Taiwan

Abstract: 摘要 本研究係利用自 2002 年2月至 2003 年2 月間按月於台北縣富基漁港魚市場所採得之481尾(雌魚313尾、雄魚168尾)斑竹狗鮫(Chiloscyllium plagiosum)進行年齡與成長的探討。樣本主要由底延繩釣於台灣北部海域所釣獲,少數由龍蝦籠具所混獲。 本種體重與全長關係式經ANCOVA檢定雌雄間有顯著差異,雌、雄關係式分別為雌魚: (n=313, P<0.05),雄魚: (n=168, P<0.05)。年齡查定以脊椎骨為形質,經邊緣成長率的月別變化情形,配合飼養30個月的標本推論,本種雌、雄的成長帶形成週期均為一年,不透明帶形成時間則在6月至9月,雌、雄皆可讀至7輪。將年齡和體長資料分別套入von Bertalanffy、von Bertalanffy with size-at-birth、Roberstson以及Gompertz成長方程式中,求得各成長參數,經AIC (Akaike’s Information Criterion)檢定,本種之最佳的成長模式為von Bertalanffy with size-at-birth成長方程式。此外,以最大概似比率法檢定發現,雌、雄成長方程式有顯著差異,所估得von Bertalanffy with size-at-birth成長方程式的各項參數分別為雌魚:L∞=93.07 cm,K=0.224/yr及雄魚:L∞=98.40 cm,K=0.213/yr。第一年成長速率雌、雄分別為13.95 cm/yr及14.35 cm/yr;第2 ~ 5年為11.14~5.69 cm/yr及11.59~6.12 cm/yr;第6~7年為4.55~3.64 cm/yr及4.95~4.00 cm/yr。
Abstract A total of 481 (313 females and 168 males) whitespotted bamboo sharks, Chiloscyllium plagiosum collected at Fu-Chi fish market, Taipei County norrhern Taiwan, from February 2002 to February 2003, were used to examine on age and growth. Most of the specimens were caught by bottom longline and few were caught by lobster trap net. Significant difference was found on the relationship between weight and total length between sexes. Females: , males: . Age was determined by using annulus band count of dorsal vertebra. Marginal increment ratio analysis indicated that translucent band formed from June to September. The maximum number of band was counted up to 7 for females and males. The von Bertalanffy, von Bertalanffy with size-at-birth, Robertson and Gompertz methods were used to describe growth equation based on age and observed length. The result of AIC (Akaike’s Information Criterion) test showed that von Bertalanffy with size-at-birth growth equation had the best fit. The parameters of von Bertalanffy with size-at-birth growth equation were: L∞=93.07 cm, K=0.224/yr for females and L∞=98.40 cm, K=0.213/yr for males. The growth rate for females was estimated to be 13.95 cm/yr for the first year, 11.14~5.69 cm/yr for years 2~5, 4.55~3.64 cm/yr for years 6~7. Growth rate for males was 14.35 cm/yr for the first year, 11.59~6.12 cm/yr for years 2~5, 4.95~4.00 cm/yr for years 6~7.
