摘要: 摘要 本研究選取Mg49Y15Cu36作為金屬玻璃母相組成設定,以機械合金方法(Mechanical Alloying, MA)製備含強化相體積為10~30%的WC/Mg49Y15Cu36金屬玻璃基複合材料粉末,並以真空熱壓成型技術將此等粉末製備成塊材;研究中發現經過3小時的機械合金處理後,可製備出WC粒子均勻散佈之金屬玻璃基複合材料粉末,而WC顆粒的添加並不會影響此複合材料粉末的熱穩定性,且更可加快Mg49Y15Cu36非晶質相的形成速率;另在1.2GPa壓力下,於473K持溫30分鐘的熱壓條件可成功製備直徑10mm、厚度4mm的WC/Mg49Y15Cu36金屬玻璃基複合材料塊材,微硬度測量結果顯示當WC添加量達30 vol.%時,塊材之微硬度值可由未添加強化相WC之Mg49Y15Cu36金屬玻璃塊材的373 kg/mm2提升至606 kg/mm2,另並以Block-on-Roller之乾式磨耗試驗型態進一步探討塊材的耐磨耗特性。
Abstract In this study, Magnesium-based glass matrix composites containing ceramic particles were produced by mechanical alloying of Mg49Y15Cu36 elemental powder mixtures with the addition of 10-30 vol.%WC particles. The bulk metallic glass was successfully prepared by vacuum hot pressing method. After 3 hours milling, initial WC particles were homogeneously dispersed in the WC/Mg49Y15Cu36 metallic glass composite powders. However the addition WC particle doesn’t influence the thermal stability of the composite powders and it could improve the glass forming velocity inside Mg49Y15Cu36 matrix. The WC/Mg49Y15Cu36 bulk metallic glass composite with 10mm in diameter and 4mm in thickness were successfully prepared at 473K for 30min under 1.2GPa pressure. In hardness measurement, when the amount of WC arrive to 30 vol.%, the hardness was raised from 373kg/mm2 to 606kg/mm2. Furthermore, the block-on-Roller wear test was used to further discuss the wear resistance of WC/Mg49Y15Cu36 bulk metallic glass composite.
