Development of a Branchia Type Marine Growth Protection System on Chest and Piping System

The main aim is to establish a modelling system of cooling system for fishing boats, which is used to study the effect of chlorine ion on marine growth, and to develop a manually-operated anti-fouling system with branchia feature, which uses the water-turbine generator to supply the necessitated power. The chlorine ion is generated from sea water by electroanalyzation, in which the density is upon the flow rate of cooling water. Due to stirring of water-turbine, the density of chlorine ion is uniform over the whole cooling system. The developed manually-operated anti-fouling system with branchia feature would prevent the chest and piping system from marine growth. This might not allow the piping system to be blocked and the flow rate inside the system to be reduced. Moreover, it would prevent the piping and its associated packings from demage due to higher density of chlorine ion.
